High Potential’s Staying Power
Remains on Top 10 List in More than 50 Countries
DigitalFilm Tree’s independent senior color artist Shaley Brooks (of Digital Iris Productions: shaley.com) and our VFX department are providing post services to the new series High Potential that puts an interesting spin on the crime drama genre.
The series premiered on September 17, 2024 and quickly rose to #1 on Hulu, was renewed for a second season in January. The series created by Drew Goddard for ABC and is based on the 2021 French and Belgian television series HPI.
Starring Kaitlin Olson as Morgan Gillory, a high potential intellectual with an IQ of 160, begins in episode one as a cleaning woman and is discovered and becomes a consultant for the police. Daniel Sunjata plays her partner Adam Karadec and Judy Reyes as Selena Soto is the head of their department. The underlining subplot adds a level of intrigue and mystery simmering away as the team solves crimes.
Olson is currently playing parts on FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and HBO Max’s Hacks.
